There are the following reasons to increase the size of the C drive in your system.

Method 1: use "Disk Cleanup" The system comes with a disk cleanup tool.
It will be very helpful to run it regularly.Method 2: Use the VSP1CLN tool to clean up the SP1 backup
If you have installed Service Pack 1 (SP1).
SP1 will back up some initial files so that you can successfully uninstall SP1.
Cleanup of this backup information can save some space.
