Google Map Offline Feature

Google Maps offline service has been launched, so you can find your way even with no internet connection. With this feature, you can search nearby places and get driving directions including voice guidelines without any internet. This feature is only available for android users.

Google Maps in offline mod had limited features. It lets you download a small region same as your paper map on your smartphone device. You can't use it for navigation and other tasks we've come to expect in digital maps.

How to use google maps offline on android

  • First you need internet connectivity.
  • Open the Google Maps app.
  • Search for any place, like "Bijnor."
  • At the bottom, touch the bar.
  • In the upper right, touch the menu .
  • To save the map, select Save offline map. And follow the directions on the screen.
  • To view your offline map, see the directions for viewing your saved maps below.

Google map is a very helpful application to go or travel anywhere without knowledge of any place. It makes the way easy and comfortable by giving instructions about the traffic and providing the real-time direction to meet one's destiny.

View your saved maps


  • Open the Google Maps app .
  • Touch the menu > Your places.
  • Scroll down to "Offline maps" and touch View all and manage.
